HOW DO I MAKE A PURCHASE ON FR.LALIQUE.COM?

By clicking on the link "Add to shopping bag", the Client places the Product in his/her "Shopping bag" in the quantity chosen. After placing the items in the "Shopping Cart", the Customer can continue shopping by clicking on the shopping cart icon at the top right of the screen. Once the Client has clicked on the "Proceed to checkout" button, an "information" page opens and the Client is invited to proceed with
the order.

After entering the shipping address, the Client is then invited to continue to the Shipping stage by clicking on the "Continue to shipping" button. The shipping method available for the Client's order is then indicated. Finally, the Client can click on the "Continue to payment" button.

The Client who accepts his/her order as described shall pay with his/her credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and is asked to enter his/her billing address. If the billing address is the same as the delivery address, the customer may choose to use the same address for both delivery and billing.

Only after confirmation by the Bank, shall the order be placed and effective.

Lalique confirms each order by email to the Client.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO SEND A GIFT ORDER?

Purchases are delivered in a unique black box tied with a white ribbon, with the exception of perfumes and candles. If you choose to send this piece as a gift, you have the option to include a personalized gift message. This message will be printed on Lalique letterhead, sealed in an envelope and enclosed with your order.

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM PURCHASED ON FR.LALIQUE.COM?

When making a purchase on Lalique.com, you may cancel your order and return the item/items to Lalique within 14 days, beginning with the day of delivery.

If you wish to cancel and return your order, you must send the item/items back without undue delay, using the Return Coupon provided in the original packaging. Please address returns to the address mentioned in the Return Coupon.

Returns are submitted at the expense and risk of customer. Items must be returned in their original packaging and must be in sellable condition. Items damaged, soiled in anyway and/or uncomplete will not be accepted.

Fragrances and candles cannot be returned or refunded if the seal has been removed by the Client.

Please be aware that personalized products cannot be returned nor refunded.

HOW TO CHANGE AN ITEM PURCHASED ON FR.LALIQUE.COM?

When placing an order on fr.lalique.com, you have the option of exchanging one or more items. Prior to returning the product(s), you must notify the Lalique e-boutique Customer Service by telephone, mail or e-mail, of your intention to receive a new item within 14 days, beginning with the day of delivery.

Only exchanges for products of equivalent value are admissible. Any exchange for a product of a lower or higher price than that of the returned product will be subject to a refund from Lalique and a new order to be placed on the website by the Customer.

Therefore,

  • For any exchange of an item of equivalent value, we invite you to send us back your article by specifying on the return coupon the desired product. On receipt, the Lalique teams will send you your replacement item.
  • For any exchange of an item of lesser or greater value, we invite you to return your article specifying, on the return coupon, that you wish to obtain a refund. This will be initiated upon receipt of the returned item. You will then be able to place a new order on our website fr.lalique.com.

The returns form is systematically added to the parcel. Don't hesitate to contact us in case you lost it.

DO YOU ADD A RECEIPT IN THE PACKAGE?

We do not include an invoice with prices in the package.

The invoice will be sent by e-mail to the address given when the order was placed.

WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY TIME & CONDITIONS FOR MY ORDER?

Items available for sale online at lalique.com can be delivered in France (including Corsica, French Overseas Territory undelivered), the countries of the European Union (except Spanish and Portuguese islands), Norway, Switzerland and Monaco.

Orders placed on the online store fr.lalique.com are shipped the next business day after the order is placed, from our French factory via our logistics partners TNT or DHL.

  • For delivery in Metropolitan France including Corsica, the average delivery time is between 1 to 3 days from the date of dispatch. Lalique does not deliver to departments overseas or territories of France.
  • For delivery to European Union countries, Norway, Switzerland and Monaco, the average delivery time is between 2 to 5 days from the date of dispatch.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM NOT AT HOME TO RECEIVE THE PACKAGE?

In the event of an absence, our logistics partners, TNT or DHL, will send you an email inviting you to collect your parcel from a designated collection point. If you did not receive this email, please contact our Customer Service at customerservice@lalique.fr.

HOW MUCH DOES THE SHIPPING COSTS?

Delivery costs depend on the country of delivery as well as on the order amount.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

If you inform us of your wish to cancel your order on the day you placed your order, it is likely that your order has not yet been dispatched and payment has not yet been approved. In this case, we will cancel the payment. If, on the other hand, your order has already been dispatched, we invite you to refuse the delivery. The parcel will be sent back free of charge within 3-5 days, and reimbursement will be made within 14 days of receipt of the parcel.

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS AND DELAYS OF A REFUND?

The refund period can take up to 14 calendar days from the reception of your return. Once we have inspected the condition of the returned items, we will notify you by e-mail. Please also note that the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchased product.

Delivery charges paid when placing an order on the website will only be refunded if the entire order is returned.

Fragrances and candles cannot be returned or refunded if the seal has been removed by the Client. 

Personalized products cannot be returned nor refunded.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY LALIQUE DECORATIVE ITEMS OR TABLEWARE?

Caring for Lalique Crystal:

We recommend that you wash Lalique crystal items by hand, as crystal is sensitive to temperature shock, and we advise against the use of the dishwasher.

Using a soft sponge, apply warm water with mild soap at a consistent temperature.

Do not use metallic pads or scouring sponges.

Allow water to drain. Dry gently using a soft, micro-fiber cloth.

Caring for Lalique Glassware:

We recommend washing Lalique glasses by hand. While washing, ensure to hold each glass by the parison and not by the foot. By turning the parison and the foot in opposite directions, breakage may
occur.

Caring for Lalique Decanters:

We recommend washing Lalique decanters by hand. Avoid storing wine in the decanters for extended periods of time. After use, rinse decanters with warm water. Let all humidity evaporate by draining the decanter in an upside-down position, inserting absorbent tissue in the decanter’s neck. Avoid putting the stopper back immediately. If a white veil appears, put a few handfuls of coarse salt and half a liter of distilled vinegar into the decanter. Shake energetically and rinse with warm water repeatedly.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY LALIQUE JEWELLERY?

Like all precious jewellery, Lalique piece are fragile and require special care. To avoid any damage, Lalique jewels will not withstand shocks, especially against hard surfaces (floors, metal, glass, etc). It is advisable not to applaud while wearing a Lalique ring.

We recommend our customers to hand-clean their jewellery regularly. However, it is not advisable to immerse any crystal parts into liquid; the use of a soft or microfiber cloth is preferable.

It is also recommended to avoid contact with substances such as perfumes, lacquers, or detergents that could possibly damage the jewellery.

When the jewels are not worn, we recommend storing them in their individual boxes to avoid any friction.

I AM IN POSSESSION OF A LALIQUE ITEM AND WOULD LIKE TO IDENTIFY IT, AUTHENTICATE IT OR OBTAIN A QUOTATION. HOW DO I PROCEED?

If you need help to identify your item, please attach at least one photo of the product and one or more photos of the items signature (R. Lalique, Lalique or Lalique France). All Lalique glass and crystal pieces have been signed on the bottom or the lower part of the piece.

Unfortunately, we are unable to officially authenticate your item, nor are we able to provide a quotation. We invite you to contact a recognized expert such as an Auction House, who can examine your piece and provide you with a quotation.

I AM IN POSSESSION OF A LALIQUE ITEM, IF IT IS CHIPPED OR DAMAGED, CAN IT BE FIXED?

Please contact Customer Service if your piece shows wear or damage. In your email, include at least one image of the product as well as detailed images of the scratches/damaged area(s).

We will offer suggestions on repair possibilities and options.

With regards to the solid crystal rings such as the Cabochon rings, Lalique recommends selecting one size larger than your usual ring size in order to wear the ring comfortably.

  • For which collection is the Lalique Digital Product Passport available? Lalique currently only offers the Digital Product Passport for the 2024 Millésime collection.
  • Do owners of previous annual collections (e.g. 2023) also receive a DPP?
    No, this is unfortunately not possible for logistical reasons.
  • What happens if you own a Lalique Product that does not yet have an NFC card? Please contact customerservice@lalique.fr with the necessary details (product and number), and we will assist you in ensuring that your product is equipped with the latest NFC technology for access to all available features and services.
  • What happens if you lose the NFC card of your Lalique Product? If an NFC card is lost, please contact customerservice@lalique.fr for assistance.
  • What happens if the NFC card is stolen? If your NFC card is stolen, please contact customerservice@lalique.fr immediately for assistance. We will take necessary measures to secure your account and provide you with a replacement NFC card or alternative solutions to ensure continued access to Lalique's services.
  • What happens to wholesale customers? Wholesale customers can contact customerservice@lalique.fr and order the corresponding DPP card.

  • What is a Lalique Digital Product Passport? The Lalique Digital Product Passport is a digital gateway to information, immersive experiences, and your Lalique Ownership Certificate of your Lalique product.
  • What is a Lalique Ownership Certificate? The Lalique Ownership Certificate is a unique digital identity card for your Lalique product, providing proof of ownership.
  • Can I refuse to retrieve the Lalique Ownership Certificate? Retrieving your Ownership Certificate is optional but highly recommended for accessing all available benefits and services associated with your Lalique product.
  • Can the Lalique Ownership Certificate be printed out? Yes, the Lalique certificate of ownership is also offered as a PDF document that can be printed. It can be retrieved and managed via the DPP.
  • Do I need to register my product online to get my Lalique Ownership Certificate? Yes, product registration is required to obtain your Lalique Ownership Certificate. This ensures that your product is linked to your account and allows for seamless access to all available services and benefits.
NFC CHIP AND DIGITAL PRODUCT PASSPORT
  • What is an NFC chip? An NFC (Near Field Communication) chip is a small electronic device that enables communication between two NFC-enabled devices when they are close to each other. This technology allows for quick and easy data transfer, often used for accessing digital content or services by simply tapping or scanning the tag with a smartphone.
  • Where is the NFC reader on my phone? The location of the NFC reader on your phone may vary depending on the brand and model. For newer smartphones, it's typically located at the top part of the phone, while for older models, it's usually on the back. Experimenting with different angles can help determine the optimal position for scanning. You can also refer to your phone's user manual for specific instructions.
  • Do all Lalique products have an NFC chip integrated? No. Starting from June 2024 all products from the 2024 Millésime collection come equipped with an integrated NFC chip, allowing for enhanced functionality and access to extended digital experiences.
  • What happens when I scan my product's NFC chip? Scanning the NFC chip with your smartphone will initiate various actions. This include accessing product information, and unlocking exclusive content or services. Detailed instructions for scanning the NFC tag can be found in the product manual or on Lalique's website.
  • Will scanning the NFC chip on my product share my personal information?
    No, scanning the NFC chip on your product does not automatically share your personal information. Your privacy and security are of utmost importance to us. Any information collected through NFC chip scanning is subject to our strict privacy policy and is used solely for enhancing your customer experience.
  • Can an NFC chips be used for geolocation purposes? No, NFC chips are not designed for geolocation purposes. They facilitate short-range communication between devices, typically within a few centimeters. They do not have the capability to track the location of your product.

  • What is an NFT? An NFT, or Non-Fungible Token, is a type of digital asset that represents ownership or proof of authenticity of a unique item or piece of content.   • What is a smart contract? Smart contracts are self-executing contracts with the terms and conditions written directly into code. They automatically execute actions or transactions once predefined conditions are met, without the need for intermediaries or third parties.
  • What does it mean to “mint” an NFT? To “mint” an NFT means to create or generate a new NFT. Minting involves the process of tokenizing a unique item or piece of content and recording it on a blockchain network as a non-fungible token.
