Maya Hotel Courchevel 1850 x Lalique

At the heart of the alpine village of Courchevel 1850, Maya Collection and Lalique unite to create a refuge where the refined, subtly Japanese-inspired spirit of the Maya Hotel Courchevel 1850 meets the art of crystal. This collaboration gives rise to an intimate atmosphere in which each space celebrates beauty and harmony a high-altitude interlude shaped by craftsmanship and hospitality.

In December 2025, Maya Collection inaugurated the Maya Hotel Courchevel 1850 and the MayaBay Courchevel 1850 restaurant. In this alpine setting, Riviera refinement blends with the poetic restraint of Japanese aesthetics. Guided by a philosophy of attentive, heartfelt hospitality, the Maya Hotel Courchevel 1850 offers an immersive, exclusive experience in which every stay is carefully personalised. Rooms and suites sit alongside a wellness area, a Lalique boutique and the MayaBay Courchevel 1850 restaurant.

Designed by interior architect Sylvestre Murigneux, this boutique hotel unfolds as a haven of peace. Clean lines and organic materials – wood, stone, bronze – shape a soothing atmosphere evoking both the strength of nature and the delicacy of craftsmanship. Each space has been conceived to offer comfort and serenity, embracing a timeless aesthetic that subtly reinterprets mountain landscapes.

Lalique’s artistic signature is revealed from the lobby onward. The eye is immediately drawn to a chandelier composed of sixty anemones in gold-lustre crystal. Suspended in delicate balance, these flowers form an airy, luminous bouquet that embodies the poetic universe of the Maya Hotel Courchevel 1850.

Other emblematic Lalique creations appear within the rooms, especially in the Lalique Apartment and the Lalique Suite.

In the Suite, a large decorative work composed of Merles et Raisins and Lauriers crystal panels rises above the headboard – a veritable frost garden, both naturalistic and refined. Above the table and bar, crystal prisms capture the light and reflect the snow-capped peaks. Lalique lamps and wall lights extend this universe with precision and delicacy.

The Lalique Apartment, spread across two private floors and 240 square metres, represents the quintessence of exclusivity. This residence – comprising four bedrooms and four bathrooms, a vast living room, reception areas, a bar and a massage room – accomodates up to eight adults in absolute comfort. Its interiors, a true showcase of Lalique savoir-faire combined with Japanese design, are enhanced by majestic views stretching from Courchevel to the surrounding summits.
