Lalique opens Villa Florhof, its first boutique hotel in Zurich

Opening on 1 August 2026 – Lalique proudly announces the opening of Villa Florhof, the Maison's first boutique hotel in Zurich and the newest addition to the Lalique Hospitality collection. Nestled between Zurich's historic Old Town and the university quarter, the intimate thirteen-room property reimagines one of the city's most storied heritage buildings as a refined urban retreat, where more than five centuries of history meet contemporary craftsmanship, gastronomy and design.

Located on Florhofgasse, the listed property traces its origins to the fifteenth century and was deeply intertwined with Zurich's flourishing silk trade from the sixteenth century onwards. More than a hotel, Villa Florhof has been conceived as an elegant private residence.

Throughout the property, Green & Mingarelli Design have created interiors that respect the building's historic character while introducing a sophisticated residential atmosphere.

From opening day, Villa Florhof welcomes both hotel guests and local residents to its Bar & Brasserie, an all-day dining destination opening onto a tranquil garden terrace that is set to become one of Zurich's most desirable settings for lunch, aperitifs and relaxed dining. Under the direction of Head Chef John Schiffmann, the cuisine celebrates exceptional ingredients with an approachable yet refined philosophy.

The property's gastronomic offering will reach a new level later in autumn 2026 with the opening of the Signature Restaurant.
